Going to Islay in 2 weeks with Calmac, got a new car last week which is an identical make/model to the one I've booked, only difference is the reg. Do i need to inform them before I get to Kennacraig?

Just keep the old plates and they'll never know the difference.

We did, I changed my car in April, but had booked the ferry back in Jan..
