I imagine a lot of people are in this boat but I've been looking for a set everywhere and cannot find anywhere with stock (other than the rubbish colours). I've even tried the dark web! (that's right, page 2 of google)

Anyone know what's going on with DMR's deathgrips stock?

That's what i was classing as the rubbish colours (sorry).
It was grey or snow camo i was after but they just seem unavailable and the retailers I've spoken to don't seem to know when they'll be restocked.

Merlin seem to have a few options in the flanged version.

Perfect opportunity to try some ODI Longnecks and see what real grips feel like.

There is some stock on the DMR website here, but it looks like there is just a lot of demand. They also list when all the out of stock styles are due back in stock. Snow camo is one of only two styles with no restock date which might suggest that it is not being made any more.
There is an actual phone number for enquiries at the bottom of the site as well so maybe give them a call to find out.

Edit. There is snow camo stock in flangeless on the DMR site

This is great advice

I used to run ODI longnecks on the BMX for years

Since riding MTB for the last 20 years Ive tried various lock on grips from all kinds of manufactures, Death Grips being the best Ive ever run until i couldn't get a set and found some brand new ODI longnecks (non lock on) at the back of the spares cupboard

Chucked them on using some spray glue and they haven't moved all winter and they are more comfortable than any other grip Ive used on the MTB

DMR website show them in stock until you add them to your cart, at which point they show as on back order with an unspecified date.

Looks as though it's mainly the flangeless thick grips that are having stocking issues. I imagine because they're the most popular configuration.

Phoenix Cycleworks have a big display set up with these I think. Might be worth giving them a ring or seeing if you can spot the colour you want in the video they put out the other day.

A lot of the death grips are on back order with Upgrade (UK Distributor), and the back order show as over sold for the next ETA.
