Have done 2 Non fee Paying Enquiry's on the same van, one in May and one this month, both have come back as Current keeper was not the keeper at date of event, but in special notes it says "Vechical been transferred to Motor Trade? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? road tax is being pd, have the feeling its a bit dodgy!!

cheers all knowing STW, (have done a serch on DVLA and Google no help)

it's been sold into the motor trade. the previous keeper is not now the owner but a new one's not been registered.

It's so that the garage/dealer doesn't show as a 'previous keeper' and increase the number of owners when all they did was take a van in px and sell it on.

(my 2p anyway - I dont; work for dvla).

Getting an answer to a question from the DVLA is like pulling teeth. You go through a million options on the phone and end up at an answering machine...

just feel this guy is pulling a fast one? if it was motor trade why still driving it around why not sell it on?

just do not think this guy is in the motor trade more Scarp metal collector/fly tipper?
