Do you think I can replace one of the actuators on my underfloor heating system myself? What sort of electrickery knowledge do I need to wire it in to the box?
The issue is that one of the actuators is always off unless you unscrew it so much that it invariably falls off and then leaves that circuit permanently on.

Normally they are 2 wire and if straight replacement, if you can wire a plug you should cope.

Just remember to power off and test, not just the live connections but lots of them as I've seen multiple lives taken into underfloor wiring centres.

Very easy. I fully installed my own system.
Think Screwfix sell the actuators. Just pop the new one on and reconnect.

Thanks. It's a 2-wire actuator. I'll have a look in screwfix.

You need to replace like for like actuator. Check if 24 or 240 volt also the they have different lengths of movement hence needing exact replacement.
