It might be my head injury talking but it is possible to watch it without getting the dust from the construction in your eyes?

Anyone here been involved?

Not watched tonights, but yes, lots of dust from that programme usually.  Some fantastic work goes on.

I was a bit cynical about this particular program a few years ago - also wasn’t a NK fan.  But then I and the missus watched a couple of episodes and became converted.  They do some epic builds - it’s a shame only a tiny number of worthy recipients benefit.

Given the massive financial savings made by adapting a persons home so they can live independently and avoid expensive and extended hospital stays why isn't their a national scheme set-up to enable conversion of patients existing homes?, it seems a win/win situation all round?.

Because greed, narcissism, bonuses, economics, government etc.etc. Everything all in a big clockwork movement with no real purpose to achieve anything. Just to keep the cogs moving in what is deemed our human ideology.

Never a dry eye when we watch

"I wish I was Nick Knowles just for a day

Rebuilding all the homes

Take some of the bad stuff away"

Not all heroes wear a cape

(Oops too much red 🙃)

A student of mine is involved, and I may be too. Not looked into how it all works yet though..

They want a bench building.
