I've been to Anger Management, had full diversity training this last few weeks, have learned that SPD's, Lycra and Roadies have their place in society and now fully accept their right to exist alongside us Freeriding ATB ers, I want you all to know I respect you and your life choices and will promise not to be rude in future.
I fully realise living here in my cave these past few years things have changed and it's totally fine if you want to do all this stuff. (It's amazing what you have to do if the Mrs decides she wants to Foster kids they even ask you questions like if the kid comes and asks you if its alright to wear SPD's)
I've even mixed with and talked to folk who put white saddles and rims on their bikes.
It has been a difficult time for me of late, the hard core kitesurfing company I worked for launching a Stand Up Paddleboard didn't exactly help and may have tipped me over the edge. So now following the news that I am tasked with the joyous act of marketing wonderful 29 inch wheels in an otherwise perfect XC frame that correction in attitude was inevitable for me.
Now I shall have to grovel before the STW massive in abject humility, it may even befall my sad and sorry lot to have to be fully inclusive to [s]Northerners[/s] Everyone and recognise their true worth 'though you'll have to excuse me for struggling with that, it could take some time, another course of therapy and a phone call or two.
I do so hope you all have it in your hearts to forgive one who has strayed, indeed not really ever known the path of political correctness, I shall try to be good and not upset anyone again.
And if I do remind me to sing the song..
PS I have got a nice new bike, I shall find the appropriate thread and post the picture if anyone's still interested in Mountain Bike stuff...
we'll only believe youve chamged if you post a pic of yourself in full lycra, with smuggled budgy in full view, fully shaven legs on a road bike
if you are man enough that is

Mountainbike? That's so noughties. Give it 10 years and it may come back into fashion.
The standard of rants around here of late has been pitiful.
Whatever anyone says you are really funny and you are not trying to hard.
You really are a muppet but your opening post on this thread did make me smile...
I actually thought that was a nicely written piece - Made me chuckle GRF
