Someone’s bound to have done this before on here, so what’s the best way of getting rid of some old aluminium sliding patio doors that are about 2m x 1m?
Should I just smash and dispose of the glass or am I going to need to dispose of them more sensibly?
Can the glass be recycled?
Bury them under a wife.

Otherwise, your local recycling centre will no doubt smash them to bits, salvage the ally and recycle the glass. It's what they do, or at least, it's what Malaysia do.
Try an allotment Group.
Be careful smashing the glass, if it it's safety glass it'll go everywhere in small pieces, if it's not it'll create nasty shards.

It’s amazing what people will take if it’s free!
I advertised mine free on gumtree if someone collected. Got three people interested straight away and gone within 24 hours.
+1 for Freecycle/Gumtree/local Facebook group. Someone will want them. Much better than landfill
Ebay if you want some cash for them. Facebook free ads if not.
I believe there are sites on the internet for such back door work. I’m sure someone will pop round and smash them in for you.
gumtree for a fiver - if you put them up for free you'll get time wasters.
when the true buyer comes, let them have them for nothing. They will be delirious with joy.
