Any budding solicitors out there?

We i have just bought a house which has a fitted dishwasher, which does not work. The dish washer was included in the itinerary of the house, and no mention was made to it not working?
Any advice, i’d assume any stipulated items in the contract would need to serviceable?

Can i ask the seller to cough up for a repair or replace?

I think you're stuffed - but ask your solicitor!

Isn't there a requirement for the seller to inform the buyer of any known problems? Of course they can deny it. Small claims court is the route to go...

How long since you got the keys? IIRC 7 days to inspect property & hold the seller responsible for remedies, any longer and you're stuffed.

But ask the solicitor!
