Now here’s my dilemma. Rush have just released a new version of their album Vapor Trails, the one over which there was all the fuss about the sound engineering. Like all proper (okay geeky, nerdy, sad, whatever) fans my Rush CDs are all in chronological order. So does this new version of Vapor Trails sit with the original from about a decade ago, or just after Clockwork Angels, released last year?
Sad though it may seem, it is actually a genuine dilemma for me!
after - chronologically speaking its a remaster
Agreed- after. Especially if there's a notable difference in the sound quality!
I have disowned Rush after Presto, I really can't get into any of their new stuff.
Actually really after Roll the Bones, Presto was pretty decent, but downhill ever since.
Sounds like after it is then.
You should try Clockwork Angels. Takes a while to fully get in to, but I reckon it's one of the best albums they have ever made. The live DVD is just out too. There is musicianship on there like you wouldn't believe.
