Not an idiot abroad question but ... On business in China next week, proper China not some cosmopolitan city. Had a real problem with food last time I was there. Whilst I'll try it, most of it I feel is vile especially coupled with the eating habits of the locals around me (not a slurring remark btw, spitting out, slurping etc is all deemed as normal there) I was wondering about taking some sort of dried food, energy bars etc that will give me at least some nutrition for the 7 day trip ? Dried cereal, elevenses bars etc along with vit tablets. Felt pretty crap last time I went and the time before that got real bad food poisoning... Any help appreciated, and not just pickled onion monster munch btw

Tinned tuna is always a good fall back coupled with a decent chilli sauce.
