I have a friend who will hand you a regular 6 sided dice, ask you to pick a number to go on top and leave it in a box. without looking he can tell you what the number is. He always gets it so how does he do it?
Anyone willing to break their magic code to demonstrate how stupid I am?
Not sure if I understand the trick. But can he see inside the box? From seeing one side of the dice you can tell what's on the other. Opposite sides add up to 7 etc.
Any chance he could see the bottom of the dice somehow?
(Since the opposite sides always add to 7)
he can do it with his back turned or out of the room.
When he uses the box it just keeps the dice out of site. It is wooden and velvet and you can't see the dice at all.
can he do it without the box ?
Yes he can do it when I hold it in my closed fist too, or under any object.
With any die or just the one he uses?
if you use the box he has three and let's you pick one.he did it again today with just the one he had.he doesn't touch it other than handing it over.

Or he's just very good at reading you. Try picturing a different number to the one you selected.
