I have and use a paslode daily and was given the dewalt framing gun to use for a few days when laying chipboard flooring. My finding were that you could not fire nails as quick as it took some time to recycle itself. We were using 65mm ringshank nails and it failed to drive the nails in fully more ofyen than what a paslode does. Also it has a automatic cut when it over heats which renders it unusable for 5 minutes. I'm sticking with the paslode for now. If i change guns i shall go with the Makita version as i have heard only good reviews plus you get 1 free per year for the 1st three years.
