We're planning our 2 week camping holiday and we're keen to go to Devon as we've never been.

Can I have your campsite recommendations for somewhere that's central to everything with good facilites (but not bothered about fancy stuff, laundry and showers are required).

Would be handy to be near a pub and the sea, we have a 2 year old. I'm not sure if I'm taking the bike so its not a priority.

Not sure if it fits all your requirements, but we really enjoyed a week here.

I've stayed at both of these & would go back again, the cool camping website is pretty good.

We stayed in a lovely site in Watermouth. Walk along the coast path one way to Ilfracombe or the other to Combe Martin for British seaside type stuff, plus many other country lanes, paths and pubs for strolling to/along.

Friends stayed here and loved it. We went to visit them (have family on the coast, so no camping) and I'd stay there.

The inside park. www.theinsidepark.co.uk

Actually Dorset but v close to Lulworth / Jurassic coast / tank world / monkey world. Enclosed by woods, no traffic, owned by a v keen cyclist (not me). Give it a go, you wont be disappointed.
