andym, it is true, you really CAN do that with an aubergine. Not that most of us would want to, of course.

i cant be sure BUT i think it might have something to do with what someone said about my comment plus it was going down the lines of where to have s3x and stuff.......nothing to do with me i hasten to add - i didn't start it, i'm innocent!
