Watching BBC News dinnertime i wondered why 25 years of Eastenders qualified as a news item .Then apparently the news channel was going to have live coverage of Tiger Woods plea to his sponsors , i mean his i'm sorry i'm a randy sod speech .Surely both of these come under the heading showbiz tittle tattle rather than news ?
Then to cap it all a story about the true location of the battle of Bosworth Field .Now that really does come ::under the heading OLD news ! 😆

if you removed showbiz tittle tattle from newspapers i think they might become rather thin

but then gordon brown telling us he cried when his baby died is completely unnecessary
