Travelling to Kent from Devon this Friday evening. Want to stop for some decent food on the way at a pub that will also take dogs.

Any recommendations for places just off the M3, Fleet and Farnborough area?

The Sun at Summer (I think it's dog friendly, but worth double checking!)

The White Hart, Overton. Bit of a drive off the M3, but good grub and definitely dog friendly, and if you're going on to the 303, it's a good option.

Watership Down, Freefolk. As above on location, top pub.

If you are going down the 303, a bit further afield is The Malet at Newton Tony, which is most marvellous.

Dunno if theyre dog friendly but id ring a few places around the Bagshot / Ligh****er junction, rather than Fleet Farnborough. White Hart at Chobham is lovely, or Brickmakers at Windlesham?

I'm local - 2 of my best locals in Fleet visited with our hound:

Exchequer in Crookham Village - best pub in the district good food and service. Close to the canal so good for walks / doggy pit stop.

Fox and Hounds, Fleet - right on the Basingstoke canal so you can sit outside, or you can sit inside. Nothing fancy but the steak pie will keep you well-fed.
