MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Not a zoo problem but a flat battery.
I’ve recently Inherited a 18v dewalt drill but think it’s been sat a while since neither battery seems to charge. Wondered if anybody have ever successfully brought a battery back to life (without setting fire to their underpants, or house)
With packs, there may be a little controller microchip built in that can just declare it dead and prevent the charger from even trying. I opened up a bosch pack, cut out the cells, individually charged them and then soldered it back together and it was good as new, but it was a huge pain in the arse to do, wouldn't do it again
(also, you're really not supposed to solder directly to lipos with an iron, but, I used the safety squint so it was fine)
I keep reading the thread title as Dean lion, and I keep wondering what it’s eaten to kill it. Sacked Tory minister, perhaps?
Make sure the batteries have plenty of space - try to avoid a tight fit.
😉
Dead Glenn not sleeping.
