Can't understand bbqs full stop, most people have got a perfectly good cooking appliance in their kitchen.

We had a South African guy in our MTB club that would use his BBQ on top of his cooker under the cooker hood in his flat for a Braai

Can't wait till someone comes up with a dishwasher you can use in the garden.

Some years ago I was present at an attempt to have a barbecue in the kitchen of a student hall. We were ok until it melted through the formica on the table at which point I managed to pick it up and run outside.

Fortunately all the smoke blew out of the window and into the flats next door so it set off their smoke alarm and got them in trouble with the university instead of us.

Beer was involved.

BBQs produce massive amounts of carbon monoxide, people have died in tents from the bbq being outside the door.

On a Radcliffe & Maconie show they heard from a woman who took her instant bbq back to Tesco because when she opened it the steak & sausages pictured on the packaging was missing.

She had bought 3 on special offer and had put the other 2 in the freezer.

Just a barbecue? I can beat that.

had been using a portable generator and a barbecue to cook indoors on Christmas Day with the windows closed.

To old to qualify for a Darwin though.
