But when I was at school in the sixties our games teacher was giving us header practice and thought it very funny to throw a medicine ball for one kid to header, resulting in him being knocked out cold, could have snapped his neck?
Anyone remember old lace up leather footballs, in the wet, on the head?
Steel toecap football boots and Bamboo and leather shin pads?
Yeah it was funny. I liked the one about the primary school that was short of recorders, so the kids had to practice blowing and finger work with rulers in their mouths.
