Shame Coma didn't win in the end. He comes across as a very nice bloke unline Despres - the fiasco with Despres being give 9 minutes back after getting stuck in the mud was rediculous.
As for Peterhansel, he may be a legend but the way the knocked the biker over in the river was amazing. Don't like him now.

Interestingly both he and Despres are French and seemed to get special treatment in a French run event...... hmmmmmmm. 😐
interesting issues.. peter was deffo in the wrong he stuck the rider no question and should have had a penalty no question. how he escaped without one is frankly unbelievabel as he did even stop to see if the guy was okay
as for mudgate the road book is clearly marked in quite some details where road conditions change and it wasnt and despres and others got muddy..
the question though is where was coma? he was running first following the same route and didnt even leave tyre marks on the road or the adjacent 'verges'...
