They are running a story today about NYC police shooting dead a dog. The dog belonged to a homeless guy who seemed to be unconscious on the street. Officers trying to approach the man shot the guys dog when it went for them.

I watched the video (linked from the news story). Not comfortable viewing but they have totally missed the real story. After shooting the dog, no-one attends the unconscious guy on the street for at least 6 minutes! By then dozens of police and bystanders, all banging on about a dog, meanwhile unconscious dude lying flat on his back with no-one caring.

Only in the good ol' U S of A.

Not going to link to the video as may upset mods, Daily Fail page here if you want

As in it'd seen things normal dogs don't and done something with its life...?

They always do. Like those stories every year of "2 people drown while trying to rescue their dog, which was in difficulties in the water. The dog survived".

I always picture the dog clambering onto the bodies of the people who tried to rescue it...
