Hypothetical question but can this be done?
It'd be on the road and I don't have a problem with A roads / dual carriageways. The bike mapping part of Google suggests you'd go over the wet bit via the M48 bridge?
Any locals able to comment s'il vous plait?

yep
Cheers BB 🙂
What do you make of this prospective route?
Haven't been out this way in years but know it's not exactly flat
I'd prob do it slightly differently - Bristol/Bath cycle path until half way, then break North on to the Yate link. Back roads from Yate area to Alveston and then on to M48 bridge. Avoids lots of hills out of Bath and most of the traffic local to Bristol itself.
Once over the bridge, I have no idea! 😉

slight adaptation using my old commute plus a bit...

This is very hypothetical atm but if I do do this, it'll be last 60 miles of a 180 mile trip.
Oh and I may be doing it at night. - Definitely need to get the navigation nailed down!
