Our local authority were looking for volunteer ride leaders to help them start a "Cycling for Health" scheme, which I'm assuming is a two wheeled "Walking for Health" programme.
I put my name down and I'm "having a chat" with the council organiser in a couple of weeks - anyone been involved with something like this and want to share their experiences?

I used to provide one-to-ones ad part of funded work in Nottingham. (BITD, when there was ££££ for such things).
The punters were there under duress from their doctors, and rarely enjoyed it.
I'm not sure any ever finished the course.

Cheers APF - I did wonder what the enthusiasm level would be amongst the participants.
