So the servants portable crt tv has packed in, no sign of life, i have checked and changed the fuse, tried a new plug socket, no sign of life.
Anything else i could do, before i have to buy another one to stop him moaning, and can i take it out of his pay.
Just the servant? Sellotape a copy of The Radio Times (or whatever the mdern equivalent is) over the screen and turn the page each morning.
Servant sounds like a working man and working folk dont need tv's.
It's only those in council houses / on benefits that get new tvs these days.
Just remind him how posh he is not to have a tv.
Otherwise I'd guess power supply. Are you / him a dab hand with a multimeter / soldering iron?
hit it, most faults are due to a dodgy solder contact
