I receievd a telegram asking me to contact the fraud section of my credit card company.
Made the phone call:
"were you in the US on 25th June sir?"
"er no"
"then I take it you were not in Canada on the 25th June?"

Fortunately they have deleted the transactions made from 25th onwards.

They wouldn't tell me any more details on the purchases but I am pleased with the service.

Damn - wonder they got my details from... I only use my card for buying bike bits (from 2 very well known online companies) and for business travel (hotels & rental cars).

I had this at Christmas having bought off a well know ( Non-bike) Website..

I suspect (know) one of those online companies has been hit by a lot of this type of fraud unfortunately.

I think I know which one too as it coincided with 3 days after making a puchase from one of them...
