I maintain the website of my local cycling club, use wordpress with various plugins.
It includes a calendar of events, which is the part that gets used and updated the most.
More and more websites like British Cycling and Cycling UK allow clubs to add events, plus Strava clubs and Facebook Pages allow for posting of events. Its all good advertising, but it's 5x the work to copy and paste all the events, plus any changes.
What sort of programming would I have to learn to develop an app or something to maintain all these databases from one source? Not really done any programming before, but up for the challenge. Pointers to learning resources welcome. Cheers.
