In the counterpoint to the Wiggle side of the "Wiggle bought CRC and it's all gone a bit sideways" thread, I've just tried to buy something from CRC.

My home details are already in the system as "shipping address" and "billing address. I want to add my work address for delivery.

Enter postcode. "Not found." Ok, odd, but whatever. Type it all in manually and save. All the shipping options disappear. No means of continuing.

Change the address back to my home. Still no shipping options.

Bale out of the transaction completely. Go back to the basket. Ok, now shipping details are visible, and payment details are offered.

Select Pay by Paypal. Paypal loads, I confirm, it says "you'll be asked to confirm this order by the merchant," drops me back to CRC's order page. Click "confirm" and it highlights in red all the empty credit card fields as missing information.

Oh well, it might've not processed, I did click off it at one point and might've cocked it up. Log in to Paypal and confirm that there's no sign of a transaction.

Back to CRC, click Paypal. Go through the motions again more carefully. Exactly the same thing happens.

Ok, fine, whatever, I'll pay by card. Type in all my card details, the last question is "select billing address" and it warns that this must be where the card is registered. And it's inexplicably been changed to my work address despite explicitly having my "billing address" on their system.

FFS. Ok, the only option is gives me is "edit"... and that gives me the option to edit the address but no visibility of the others already stored.

Back out and start again, is here any way to select billing address earlier in the process? No, and TBH it looks like "billing address" is just a cosmetic label and has as much relevance to the system as "cheese sandwich." Hit Next and double-check that I'm not missing something fundamental. I could be wrong but it seems that you cannot have a separate delivery address and billing address, which means I can only have orders delivered to my home when I'm at work all day. Which is really useful.

Think, y'know what, bollocks to this, I'm going to Amazon.
