parcel force - just drop it in a your local post office and ask for express 24 or express 48 which are the parcel force services.

i am more than happy when i send and recieve with parcelforce, its always the same guy and he is very helpful and friendly.

receiving
i like the way dpd send a text telling you when its coming and giving some options to change which you can respond to by text
and then on the day of arrival they tect you and give you a one hour window.

i also have deliveries by Yodel and i am really happy with them.

UPS can be awkward to deal with at customer service .

but generally i think all the parcel companies have upped their game considerably .

if i had to choose who to send with it would be parcelforce every time they give you some times for you to choose when they collect and they bring the labels.

No I just made them up! ๐Ÿ™„

The issue I am finding, hence the question, is the dimensions are obvisouly causing problems with online ordering.

Parcel force give me a quote but they don't recognise the postcode, yet Google maps does!

I don't want this parcel refused. I sold it on ebay (it's a parcelshelf/boot liner thingy) and the guy is being quite patient.

I've always sent using Parcelforce by visiting post office, just less hassle

I have had a big problem with delivery from PDP (or is it DPD) who delivered to totally wrong address despite having accurate postcode, the denied it as their driver and tracking system said delivered. If kind person hadnt brought it Ron d (from many streets away) I would never have got it, as it was it was a birthday gift for my daughter and it was late for her birthday !
