Anybody know the current cost of buying diesel in France?

We're thinking of driving to Font. Has anyone got a rough idea of the toll charges bewteen Calais & Paris?

Cheers

Hi elsa
I don't knwo where you are driving in the UK, but I would consider using the ferry beetween newhaven and dieppe for several reason.
It's dead cheap.
It's just long enough for a nice break in your driving.
Dieppe is the closest beach to Paris.
Dieppe is a very very nice town to have a journey break too.
It's dead easy to go to paris via Dieppe and Rouen

Diesel cost is just under 1€ at the moment in the riviera.
As for toll you can use mappy or via michelin.

Hope it helps.

Diesel is currently around 92cents -> 1 euro depending on where you buy it.

Still 18.30 for the peage according to mappy.fr

We also do the Newhaven Dieppe crossing its cheap doesn't land in Calais or Dunkirk (big plus points) and is a great little crossing. I'm finding petrol to be around the 1 euro mark or just below so with the exchange rate as it is I take it as exactly the same price as here.
