We will be in touch
Hi
How far away from a door/window/opening does the flue have to be on a new A-rated condensing boiler (not sure of manufacturer)?
Our neighbours in the flat downstairs have just had one installed which has resulted in a dirty great tube up the side of our wall and white clouds wafting into our kitchen doors.
This is fine for them as it terminates 1.5m (ish) vertically from there window but 1.5m horizontally from ours.

I'll leave this one for the engineers.
300mm isn't it?
You should complain to them and tell them they need a longer plume management kit!
All depends on Manufactures instructions FM. Altough it's probably 300mm. The key is that there will be a line in there regarding plume discharge, which will state that the flume should terminate in such a manner that the plume does not cause nuisance. Which is what the plume management kit is for.
It's easily moved anyhow. Have a word with them
oui oui
the minimum distance is 1m from any opening ,door, window etc.just type in a boiler manufacturer(baxi, bosh etc)look for fitting instructions in web sites and you will find this info..rob..
Not neccesarily rob

Just need to sneak a peak at the boiler, and then get all henry kissenger on their asses.
