I have a Contour HD, must be at least 4 years old and have not used for a few years. I tried on my sons bike today as it was the first run on his new bike.
The filming is so dark despite it being sunny and bright. Is ther something wrong with the camera now ? I have used it at Cwmcarn DH track and even in the wooded section it seemed ok for light.
Any tips ?
There are some settings you can change which affect brightness etc.
Plug the device into a PC USB and open up the camera "drive" there will be a text file containing the settings which you can edit. (You have to change a flag in the file to tell it to use the new settings).
Alternatively I think there's a program which came with the camera which does all this for you without the need to edit the file.
