[Closed] Contents insurance for shared accommodation?

I'm just about to move into a new house which I am renting with a couple of mates and am having a few problems with contents insurance (that isn't for students), does any one else out there live with mateas and not as student accomodation. I was hoping to re insure with M&S as they had a great policy for bikes, basically you didn't have to name anything that was under £4K and that inlcuded bikes and cover away from the home, but they won't do it for three un related people in the same house.
