This is getting quite tedious now.
Last few weeks constantly having to log back in, the only forum I use that is this bad.
Leave the iPad go and get a cup of tea, logged out. Switch to another open window, logged out - it’s just crappy. When the forum isn’t dog slow, you get logged out.
I wonder if it's a platform thing? On Android using Firefox with various privacy plugins enabled and very rarely get logged out. Maybe every couple of months. Not enough to notice. Never had an issue with speed either.
Until today, I get logged out about once per month (W10/Chrome or Android/Chrome)
Today, on phone it's been a few times.
Never happens on my chromebook but happens constantly on my android phone.
Yeah, I get logged out regularly too. About once per month.
Windows 11/Chrome and Android 13/Chrome.
Every single time I close a browser window on the phone I'm being logged out today. This has not happened before to me, not sure what's changed STW end.
The 'keep me signed in' box is clearly decorative...
klick the keep me signed in box before adding your login in details, sounds counter intuitive but worked for me, i was getting logged out constantly, since Hannah put the post on the forum to log in as above i've been logged in, that has to be a couple of months ago now

Same for me - never made the slightest difference for me.
I've never understood what the fuss was until recently but been much worse for me for the last month or so.
It's actually stopped on my Android phone after months of anguish. I cleared all cookies and history.
3 times today on phone.
Guess it's a new feature that is exclusive to this site
Ffs having to log in every other visit - is running a forum that difficult?
