MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I've done a search and I know it is possible - but how??
I presume I can use the existing cables, but the ends of the cable do not appear to be compatible with the back of the Humax box:

Looks like I need a male and a female standard aerial connection to recieve 2 channels at the same time. Is it a simple case of cutting off the sky ones and fitting different ends onto the cables?
Anyone any experience of this and also, do I need to point my dish in another direction - thanks!
Thats looks like a Youview box - for an aerial, not satellite.
You need a freesat box, just plug and play swap for sky / sky+. Same cables. No need to move dish.
#Edit: or a Freesat+ box for recording / pausing etc.
As above, that's a Freeview box with Belling Lee Coax connectors
Freesat box just plugs straight into sky dish. Your pic looks like a terrestrial freeview box.
Sowhat won't fit then?
The cables from the dish should have F type connectors on them
You can't just split satellite cables like aerial cables btw, you need two seperate feeds coming from the dish (which you've probably got if you had sky)
All sorted folks - I was looking at the freeview not freesat 🙄
