Not sure about the phone app. I can see quite a few people trying to claim for broken screens.

We played lolly sticks too and I had a huge Star Wars cards collection mostly won playing the Star Wars card equivalent of penny up the wall. How we entertained our selfs pre Xbox.

When Rik Mayall died, I was stunned that the apprentices in our place (late teens / early 20s) didn't know who he was. As I tried to explain, and Google pictures to show them, one of them suddenly realised; "oh, you mean that bloke in the Bombardier advert!!"
