Blimey , good old Companies House has upped the confirmation statement filing fee from £13 to £34 ( 1st May 2024).
260% rise , just to let them know everything is the same as last year. That’ll pay for a few parties 😎
It was £15 way back when, I think they cut it in about 2012 or something when it went online. First increase since then but that's a hefty jump!
Lots of changes coming at Companies House (for the better IMO).
It's going to add a layer of cost for them as well as the fact it's been peanuts for ages.
It'll be nice if they crack down on people with multiple companies who think they can let one go into liquidation owing hundreds of thousands , whilst their "other similar companies" are doing rather nicely !!
