Just had a quote to replace £2400 some of the joins are failing in places probably due to the cold weather(ice)resulting in motar being washed out of the brickwork.
Also unable to have cavity wall insulation due to possible damp ingress.
1. Can i claim on my house insurance
2. Is the quote unreasonable? 17 metres of concrete guttering removed and replaced with woodgrain fascias soffit guttering.
Any experiances?

1 no (AFAIK)
2 no - the gutters are structural - the structure needs replacing.
