Yesterday whilst browsing the net, I found the look of the page had changed on two sites ,this one,and the Times. As far as I know I haven't changed any settings to cause this.On both sites the text is much smaller, and difficult to read, and the pages have wide margins. What have I/they done ?

Have you changed the text zoom size? - ctrl + scroll wheel or in the menu.

Probably because your browser remembers each site’s zoom level?

Yes, each site will remember your zoom level. Ctrl-0 is the hotkey for default zoom.

You can also adjust zoom by holding Ctrl and using the scoll wheel. Anecdotally speaking, that is probably how you managed to accidentally decrease the text size in the first place.
