We will be in touch
My laptop has no sound, it did have sound, the little icon of aspeaker that you click on to adjust the volume comes back with "no audio output device fitted", so I looked on the windows help thingy and found it has got a soundcard-which it reckons is working correctly! EH? 😕
So your ideas are appreciated by a computer numpty 😐
have you got some external speakers ?
plug em in, sometimes that's enough
(all I've got after that is "switch off & back on again" but I'm sure a real guru will be along shortly)
thanks scaredy, i think they're all too busy googleing themselves!
Come on help me!!!!
I wanna watch the fast show clips
what operating system are you running
and did the problem occur after a particular event such as loading skype or some other software update, etc?
Are you running XP or Vista?
If its Vista then you should remove anu entries to audio devices in the device manager and reboot. After the reboot the devices will be picked up again and should work.
Had this a couple of times myself!
