I've got some new CDs that I want to put on my itunes, but the laptop is not recognising the fact that there is a CD in the drive. The 'what action to take?' box doesn't come up, nor does itunes show the CD. I've tried it with a few different CDs and had no joy.
Any ideas on how to fix this please?

Try the "DVD" drawer...

The lens is probably dirty. Get a lens cleaner disk, and run that a couple or 3 times.
Otherwise you might need a replacement drive.
