I've got a bit of a hankering to try making espresso at home but not enough of a hankering to buy a big ol' steamy contraption. The flair neo seems to tick the right boxes by being cheap and unobtrusive - the pressurised portafilter will mean no need for a new grinder as well. I'm almost certainly not going to be using it all day every day and I don't mind a wee bit of faff.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them they'd like to share?

Nope but this James Hoffmann has:

Though guessing maybe you've already watched due to his comments about the pressurized basket and grinders.

As an aside I have just gone back to my Gaggia Classic and love messing with the steam and nonsense.

Nothing beats the Orange 5 of the coffee world

Well I’ve ordered one. Have just gone for the base neo model so depending on how it goes I can upgrade, sell or even just use it as it is (unlikely). The next job will be to figure out a good way to heat a tiny amount of milk for a cortado

I actually like my classic to look at though!

I have a classic, I love it. You'll enjoy the neo, but you might end up upgrading soon than you expect.

Enjoy the rabbithole!

There's a 'brew with flair' group on Facebook which is useful too.

Haha! Am very unlikely to be getting into steamy brewing any time soon. The kitchen is already full enough of coffee toys!

Thanks for the heads up about he facebook group - I'm sure it'll be useful!
