We tried these last night in the stove and first impressions were good - clean, hot, easy burn with fair longevity and little waste. Apart from being a little pricey, is there a reason not to use them? I really like the reusing waste angle but if it turns out they have to be processed with some nasty to make them burn or that they produce some nasty I'd ditch them. Should there be snobbery around the type of coffee bean burnt - should I be horrified to be burning Starbucks in Surrey 😉 ?

I have shocking problems with coffee logs, literally 10 minutes warning.

5 mins for me. And I wouldn't exactly describe it as a 'log'

Well that's this thread blocked. I'd leave it for a bit if I were you.
