I stayed at trawsfyndd holiday village 2 weeks ago in their bunk house. It sleeps 20 people but you have to pay for 10 minimum. Fantastic house with a large lounge, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, drying room and a pub - restaurant across the road.
It was £19 per person per night, very clean and in a beautiful location.
I will be returning soon!!

+1 for the holiday village!! We stayed in one of the log cabins! Came in at <40 each for two nights! Six lads and still plenty of room, had a good conservatory on it to store bikes in and also a washing machine which was perfect as we rode in January!! The pub food if slightly expensive was proper tasty!!

stayed here http://www.oldmillfarmhouse.co.uk/ about 18months ago... was fine for a weekend's biking, rooms are *colourful*, but the breakfast was good.

Another +1 for the holiday village. We booked direct with one of the owners. Cheap as chips. Large lounge/diner, space for bikes in the porch, tiny bedrooms. Not luxury, more like a big static caravan than an idillic log cabin, but fine. You might need a couple for 8 people but you should be able to get two pretty much next door.

Or you could try here http://www.tynant.me.uk/ - run by the owners, although they look busy!
