Bloody hell. When it pans out it would appear that he was very lucky getting stuck on that small outcrop!

Well, he might have climbed up, and thought using a snowboard would be a quicker way down; I’ll be damned if I can see how he ended up perched on that tiny little ridge on his board, though, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere near he could have found a decent slope to ride, to end up there.
The very definition of precarious!

I agree and I can totally see why he was glued against the stone. I'd have wanted to bloody melt into the stone given the chance.

No harm in going a little off-piste.

He's going to need a new set of Damarts.

I'm glad you cleared that up. Wouldn't want a cliffhanger on my mind all week.

He’s come down the slope without really knowing where he’s going, gone around the tree and side slipped on his toe edge as the terrain got steeper and steeper. Looks like he was VERY lucky to stop where he did but I can totally see how it happened. Also very lucky that people could see him to raise the alarm.

Spanky’s Ladder (where this is, in Whistler-Blackcomb) is an amazing bit of terrain that’s technically not out of bounds. With a small hike you can get some amazing powder lines and/or steep couloirs. Also easy to get into trouble.

Glad he’s ok.

I'd guess he was trying to get into that little gully on the left, having seen it on his previous hike out from that valley (the downside of going up Spanky's Ladder). Harder to find from above than he thought!

Cliff. His name is Cliff

I'm not sure it is. He doesn't have a seagull on his head...

How, just how, did he actually stop?

Did Magneto float him up there using his belt buckle?

Plus that's clearly not a summer holiday.

Am I the only person who thinks the guy taking the video and those with him are total a-holes to laugh at his situation, they expressed mild concern, but the general gist of their commentary was to be amused. He came out of it OK but they didn't know what the outcome would be.

Being pedantic, isn't that a bluff rather than a cliff? I thought a cliff had to overlook the sea.
