We're looking to go somewhere different for a day out with the dog. I've not been to Cleeve Common since I was a kid, so thinking that might be a good option.
We'd like for the dog to be off the lead for a bit so she can have a run. Does anyone know whether the sheep are up grazing yet? She doesn't behave well enough to trust not to go anywhere near the sheep if she's off her lead.
Also can anyone recommend a local pub for some food?
No sheep. There's cattle but they're behind an electric fence.
Can't help with the pub though.

The Rising Sun has a nice view over the plain to the Malverns if you sit outside in the sun and the food is ok if you're expecting pub average
