hello. so, i've joined a certain STW demographic and have bought a house with a wood burner and hardwood flooring (no audi or orange five, but yes I work in IT). my question, to those of you who have wooden floors too, is what do you use to keep them clean? i've no kids or pets so that's a certain amount of abuse to it that's already done away with, but do you just sweep with a regular broom or what?
Brush up crumbs when you notice them, then just hoover it at whatever your schedule your OCD demands and very occasionally take mop and detergent to it.
Soapy wood cleaner. Smells Lush.
In the cleaning product aisle.
Once a year hire a rotary floor cleaner, and get some spray cleaner, it realy gets crap out of the wood and doesnt sand the floor as such, a vacumm every week gets all the food and mud out of any gaps as well, then a gentle mop.
