Apart from the serious potential consequences there is a hilarious line in the news item about the HMCTS IT system losing evidence… 😂
HMCTS says its internal investigation found no evidence that "any case outcomes were affected as a result of these technical issues".

It's odd. That's the second time this week that proving a negative has been headline news.
Adoption papers were destroyed in a fire including letter and paperwork to be passed on to the child. Anyone affected was to contact a public body. But if they were to be passed on and are now destroyed then how would you know?
