Got the tree on Tuesday but can't find the stand for it. We had a really good plastic one that was strong enough for a 6 ft tree and could hold water in it. Would like a similar one but can't remember where I got it from.

What have you guys got recently and from where?

B&Q

Or places that sell Christmas trees in general.

Homebase do an excellent German stand that we got this year. Fed up of the old metal one where you have to screw bolts in to the tree. Took ages and several attempts every time.

The German one is typically efficient - put tree in, push down foot pedal which clamps tree in place, fill with water until indicator shows it's full, sit back with glass of wine - all in the space of a couple of minutes.

We too have the one from Homebase and agree they are typically German and work very well.

Failing that make one with some 2 x 4 and a holesaw, did this last year with a load of outcut I had lying around, made good kindling afterwards too, will only take about 15 mins 😀
