If I posted a letter on Saturday then any ideas what day it should be delivered? First mail and UK inland.

Monday?

Saying that someone posted me something on Friday 1st class recorded, and it's not here yet.

Royal Mail have pretty much admitted on Twitter that it's all gone to crap this year due to the amount of online shopping. Absolutely nothing to do with them being privatised and not taking on extra staff over Christmas, of course, because that costs money...

At the moment the RM handling delay at Heathrow is 8 weeks, according to a colleague in cargo. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Not noticed it myself though.

i find it depends on where you live and where the parcel is going, i have shipped from west yorkshire to belfast on second signed and 90% of the time it arrives next day.

christmas it will always take a few days longer. alot of the bike shops are notorious for not putting the item into royal mails network for a few days.

Depends on your region. A second class one posted Friday reached me today.

Follow up. My first class recorded letter arrived today. So seem to be running a few days behind.

That was Peterborough to Peterborough.
