Happy Christmas everyone.

My brother in law, wife and their three kids, 3,7 and 9 arrived on Saturday, they leave on Friday. I've been for two runs already. They're staying with my MIL but he can't cope with being in her house so they are at ours for most of the time. Two oldest girls were supposed to asleep at ours last night but separation anxiety meant the eldest was in tears between 10-12pm so we ended up taking her to the MIL house. The oldest two fight all the time and the volume levels are at 11. The last few months has been stressful with the MIL, possible dementia and associated paranoia so there's been lots of talk about that. I'm escaping on my bike tomorrow while they go ice skating.
